History  

My love affair with German Shepherds started as a child, being raised with shepherds all my life. It was renewed in 1989 upon starting college when I felt the need to have my own companion/protection dog to take with me. It took me a very long time to find what I considered a good quality shepherd. It took several months, in fact, of constant searching before I found the ideal puppy…..Dakota.

Cody stayed with me until this July of this year. I lost him at the age of 14 years. Until the time of his death he remained a vibrant part of my household. When I went on vacation, Cody went on vacation. It has been hard losing him.

Several people, after having met Dakota, encouraged me to raise a litter of puppies. I was not opposed to the idea, and went about finding a suitable female. Again, I had much difficulty. I finally found her in Dalton, GA, and she has since become my foundation bitch. She is out of police lines and turned out to be an excellent female.
