- Active Family Dog.
- Obedience Trained with protective tendencies.
- Medium Sized female
- Outgoing and Social but playfully mouthy - tends to put her mouth on hands and arm
- Can be pushy with kids her own size if allowed so she is not recommended for households with kids younger the teenagers.
- Current on all medical care and has already been spayed as well as gastropexied (spayed at 14 months).
- She is a loving dog than enjoys interaction and playing ball.
- Was around a smaller dog growing up but has not been around cats. It has been awhile since she has been around any small dogs and we would not recommend her for households with other female dogs.

- Arrogantly self confident!
- Can be dominant and we don't recommend for households with small children that will get in his face. Probably good for teenagers that know "boundaries" with dogs.
- Protective and VERY Affectionate with his pack - can be quite the ham....down right goofy in fact with his people.
- High prey drive, good ball drive, and good food drive as well.
- Easy to train and would most likely excel in the protection work.
- If provoked, he is forwardly aggressive.
- GREAT DOG for PEOPLE WHO KNOW SHEPHERDS.
Samson vom Sequoyah Haus
Samson is a beautiful, 3 year old, plush coated German Shepherd Dog. He has had obedience training and is ready to be adopted. He is looking for a home with either a single person household or a small household that does not get a lot of visitors. He is very protective and his new owners will need to keep this in mind anytime someone comes over. He MAY not do well with younger kids (he has never been around them), but would probably do well with teens that respect and understand dogs.
He is very much an indoor dog. Wants to be with or near his person. He hates being outside alone or going out if it is rainy (It messes up his hair-do) 😊 He does well in a crate and is left loose in the house at night with no issues, and no destruction.
He is possessive of his food and food things such as bully sticks and chew bones (another reason that we would be concerned about him with small children that might try to take food from him). He is good with soft toys and hard chews (nylabones and benebone). He is not toy driven and does not obsess over a ball.
Samson would most likely do well with someone who bikes or runs. Absolutely needs a firm leader who understands Shepherds or working breeds. If you give him an inch, he will go miles with it.
Excellent alert dog – will alert to anything unusual outside.
He is NOT a go-everywhere kind of dog unless you are willing to put the work in with him. (He likes to bark at cars going down the road from the backseat).
